The DHN TV
Our Doctor’s Choice Guarantee ensures that you have complete control over your DHN system and that you can customize your DHN TV the way you think you can best communicate with your patients. We want to empower you to educate and inspire your patients to live healthier lives and to turn their wait time into an educational experience.
Here is some information on the different ways you can choose to customize your DHN TV!
Clinic Slides: We will create a video with your message to play on just your DHN system! All you need to do is complete a quick form at Clinic Slides, telling us what you’d like to communicate with your patients.
RSS Feeds: You can choose the type of news ticker you want at the bottom of your screen. The following loops are available for our RSS Feeds:
- WebMD-Health News
- ESPN-Sports New
- Yahoo-Entertainment News
- Yahoo-National News
Additionally, if you would like to remove one of these or add another RSS Feed, we can typically accommodate your request.
The RSS Feeds will also be updated every 4 minutes so your patients can get breaking news while they wait!
Sidebar: The sidebar is the left panel on the TV where the programming is not playing. We can insert your logo, staff pictures and other images here. Just email your Member Services representative high-resolution images that you would like.
Content Playlist: You can change the type of content currently playing to inspire and educate your patients! We currently offer three different playlists:
- Basic Playlist: Suitable for all patients and topics include nutrition, exercise, related conditions, stories from other diabetes patients
- Spanish Playlist: This playlist contains roughly half of Spanish-language content and half of Hispanic-oriented content in English.
- Pediatric Playlist: We like to keep the children entertained as well and help them feel less nervous about having diabetes. This playlist features stories from famous sportpersons, entertainers and other children who all suffer from Type 1 Diabetes. It also addresses other related conditions for children and teenagers, such as obesity.
- Soon launching - Advanced Playlist - discussing research and clinical trials in diabetes in addition to all our other diabetes-related topics!
Commercial Veto: While we work hard to only allow sponsor commercial messages on DHN that believe in patient education and provide diabetes treatment solutions to patients, we understand your practice might disagree with a certain company or their product. We give you the veto right to remove a specific commercial message from your DHN system, just let your Member Services representative know.
